i love him.

he still lets me climb trees every once in a while.

Sweet treehouse tree

so we've lived in our house for almost a year. our very 1st official home. where some of the most beautiful memories were made. where we prepared for, labored through, and transitioned into parenthood. where we cradled and rocked our first born child to sleep that very first night he was all ours. where we realized this was all real and that such a precious little life was completely in our hands. where we set patterns that we've always dreamed of one day having within the walls of our own home. where delicious dinners were devoured. where picnics and special guests were the norm. where our capacity to love grew beyond our expectations and most importantly, where we laid the foundation to our happily ever after.

here's to sweet memories of our first little home. here's to
front yards. back yards. grape vines. pear trees. apple trees . best lawns in the neighorhood. the sweetest potential for a garden i ever did not take advantage of. basketball hoop-mania. and lastly the sweetest tree house walnut tree ever! and the sweet hubbies and babies who patiently allow me to revisit a personal favorite childhood pastime.

note to self: slowly get marcus to relish in the sweet joy of tree climbing so that he can build our kid's 1st tree house/mansion and love it! that, and make sure micah is an avid tree climber ( 86 the broken bones please). the end.
