family night out. we claim each other.pretty much.
so monday nights are absolutely our favorite. we get to pause out the busy world of work, work and more work week and simply enjoy QUALITY time as a family. marcus and i pretty much see it as a fun family date night, doing any and everything we've always wanted to do as a kid (only with big kid status, a license and a little tike in tow). and so this monday, it being the kid-o's 1st day of spring break and all, we decided to hitch up the big green goblin ( the dreissen's massive 16 passenger van) and take them for a night out on the town! really, it was supposed to be our traditional maybe and little sarah special movie night out (via her choice, tangled) but oh the joys of being the child of the one house in lindon where the neighborhood kids all tend to gravitate towards and deem the hang out spot ;) several overhearing ears pirk up and before we know it we have the whole van full of driessen kids and then some. the more the merrier right ? ;]] yes indeed! we jammed out, rocked on and sported these stunna shades like celebs!
ps. 6 month micah and movies... not the same as 1-3 month micah and movies. thank goodness for entertaining movie theater aisle lights...back rows with other overly enthused children... and the fact that it was all just ONE dollah.
