playdates and family double dates

today was a jam packed day

and we enjoyed e-v-e-r-y minute of it

beginning with this little guy:

behold, mr. prophet

a cutie patootie

poor little micah didn't quite know what to do at first.

while little prophet wanted to use micahman as a jungle gym, the poor chubs sat there defenseless. at first startled and then frantically looking to me for help. oh the little guy. i mainly laughed and recorded as he was thrown off by the size and zeal of little prophet =) funny thing is they're just 4 weeks apart (prophet older, micah chubbier) but you can definitely tell the stark difference a couple of weeks can make during such formative months ;) by the end micah caught on and i stood by and watched as my little guy interacted with such a mobile little friend.

note to self: keep up such social interactions. he's catching on :)

then we fulfilled a fun wish of watching this:

family double date at the movies w/ 2 under 2 = sweet success!

not to mention the fact that the film was given two thumbs up by miss emily ( a native of brazil and my marcus ( a two year resident of such a gorgeous country)!

  the rest of the evening only continued to get better as we dropped the little guy off at aunt Natalie's and met up with great friends for some sweet temple serenity. we heart Oqurrah Mountain Temple. and sweet friends willing to love our little one while we serve.
