Sesame Street

so we went to the provo library for the 1st time in a minute.

(mini-confession: i sometimes stay away from public libraries when i have fines...turns out i only owed $1.67 ;]] ---i pressed the pay later button ;)

operation find spanish books for the the little guy. after 15 minutes of wandering i found the ONE isle . in the back . chose the baby board books hidden behin that one isle and then came across this

i realized something. now dont judge me, but i've never watched an entire episode of Sesame Street. deprived. sad huh? i know.

but i seriously havent. now ever since micah's existance i've been wrackng my mind thinking of different things to do with him so that he becomes the most genius child EVERrrrr . i know. im the only mother who thinks like this right? i swear ive read and reread various opinions on baby videos ( Baby Einstien , Signing Time, My Baby Can Read, etc. ) . And I seriously remember looking back and thinking i refuse to sit my child infront of a tv an let it babysit them. well ... i watched baby einstein w/ my little chubbers and i swear it was like the 4th of july! his little eyes were glued with amazement. the mixture of music, colors, stimulating objects that he had never seen before in his little life...i came to a conclusion: it works for us. no worries, I dont sit him in front of it all day. infact i refuse to and he wont let me. 35 minutes and then he's on to something else.

well... while rummeging through the surprisingly diverse amount of baby videos i saw it: sesame street videos! "daaaaang! old schooooool," i found myself saying out loud. and then i thought: ok may, i know you're particular about what you expose micah to BUT SESAME STREET is like the old school Baby Einstien , Signing Time, My Baby Can Read...ALL in one! AND they include

kids that look like US (me, marcus, AND baby micah) !!!
