the beautiful day brought SPRING to mind
and thus, we geared up

and followed such thoughts all the way around the corner to our happy place:
yes. in spite of the name, it is our happy place indeed!
and then created our spring wish list on the spot:

it's amazing how once you have another life so dependent on you your focus shifts. a whole new world ( cue Aladdin best song of all time)! seriously---so many things to consider now having a little one in tow, ie. baby helmet sizes, baby helmet adjustments,neck support, weight requirements, and safety precautions.
i've been itching to hop back on my bike and feel the rush of long me-against-the-road rides. i've been vocalizing it more and more and the other day a friend asked me, "what's the big rush to do such extreme things all of the sudden?" i paused for a sec thinking, this guy must really not know me, and then i realized: hold em up---i was totally pregnant just about ALL of LAST year! and so this spring /summer/early autumn i'm cashing in and going all out! and you betcha micah and mommy are going to experience the goodness that is right in our midst. now, no worries im too afraid to bring him on any hardcore rides or on busy streets. BUT we shall be conquering some sweet chill family rides on smooth trails.
im so excited to introduce and watch as my little man soaks in all the beauty that surrounds us. PLUS im totally looking into mommy and me work out gear :) might as well own it right?!
dear spring: feel free to arrive early. we await and welcome you with open arms.
