what the crap?!
so while family was here to meet the little guy, as any proud mama would do, i freshened the little guy up. pimped out little outfit, cute kicks, hair nice and smooth ofcourse. brought out our little pride and joy to meet his tia mecal for the very 1st time. she loves on him, as any proud auntie would. and then all of the sudden ...it happened , we both notice something on the little guy's head. what the dreaded, never before seen scale-ies!?! puzzled, having sworn up and down he was flawless before introducing him to such important people, i examined his little scalp carefully and confirmed ...they were indeed scale-ies! what the whahhh?! (said tracy jordan- 30 rock style) i immediately take him on to the bathroom and begin picking out the scales one by one, highly confused. my little guy can't have dandruff i swear i take better care of him than this, i find myself whispering.

... needless to say after making a couple of important reference calls, i realize that i'm not a neglectful mother afterall and that it's very common among babies. huge sigh of relief.
